Last Time on: The Villain

The decimation of the Judicial Five shook the Whtilonian City-Scape to its core. Soon after the Villain known as Vertalax struck against the deadly hero known as, The Dweller, destroying the a significant portion of the building during their fight. After recieving his terrible wound upon the Dwellers defeate, Vertalax awaits his time to strike again. With a sinister plan in mind, Vertalax Sends a single mechanical cat to collect data for him.

With swift steps, Vertalax navigated the darkness into a silent, stale-scented storage area. His father’s glowing hologram stood in the dimness. “Here,” it said, peering at a row of large containers. “Any one will do.”

“I haven’t seen these in years,” Vertalax murmured, approaching. The cold metal of the nearest container chilled his palms as he touched it. Lifting the lid, a soft hiss escaped as it decompressed. From within, a faint purr stirred, and a yellow-patterned tail flicked through the air. A mechanical replica of an orange house cat pounced onto the floor. Vertalax smiled. “The perfect spy. Even now, these felines roam the sidewalks of the richest cities.”

“Exactly,” the hologram replied. “Capital City’s archives hold the names and identities of heroes produced by their academies, the largest traders in costumed mercenaries next to Sixth City itself. We’ll find our targets there, and everyone will be busy, I detected multiple corporations preparing for a large event in the area.”

Vertalax stroked the soft feline. “And this will be our spy…”
